Getting around
Every Junos based router is set up and configured by its configuration file.
The configuration file in Junos has a series of levels and sections (sometimes called
directories) that give it structure.
Routlets provides a full screen, context aware editor against this router configuration
file. Working with this file is made easy by the outline view and goto screen.
Outline view
The outline view shows the sections of a configuration file in a tree.
Naturally this can be used to navigate the file, but copy, paste and compare operations are available
from here too.
Goto edit path
From the editor, the Goto dialog can also be used to jump directly to any edit path
in the configuration - based on a full or partial match.
This is one of the quickest ways to find your way around a
router configuration file.
A navigation history is kept while moving around the file,
to enable a quick jump back to any previous location.
