When adding a router, the router details are auto-detected.

Connection via SSH and SFTP will be used in preference to Telnet and FTP.

SSH keys (or identities) can be used, and the connection to the router can be made via an intermediate jump host.

Note router passwords, and/or SSH keys, are kept encrypted in secure storage. This provides single sign-on access to all routers managed by Routlets.
